CMGE logo

UAW CMGE

The Center for Manufacturing a Green Economy (CMGE), a 501(c)(3) organization created by the United Auto Workers (UAW), is building a well-trained, mission-driven green workforce as the United States ramps up green domestic manufacturing through worker-centered training programs. Without this high-road approach, we will continue to have a serious shortage of qualified, motivated workers needed to rapidly scale green technology - crimping sectoral growth and delaying decarbonization effort. CMGE is part of a once in a generation opportunity to address these gaps and in tandem build an inclusive green economy that creates shared prosperity.
